Patna zoo
Patna got its first Botanical Garden in January 1970. Out of the campus of the Raj Bhawan 34 acres of land, complete with trees and flowering plants, was demarcated and converted into a botanical garden in 1970. At places it resembles a forest with galleries that meet overhead and blot out the sunlight. Some additional land was made available later and a small zoo was added. It is now known as Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park. A Small lake, tree house and toy train are some other attractions, the parks has to offer. It is thronged by morning walkers in the morning.
